Misuse of the word ‘gay’ doesn’t just perpetuate homophobia, it perpetuates stupidity. We created a film that acted as a sharable toolkit, empowering people to call out casually homophobic simpletons and join our cause. The message was simple: it’s fine to use the word “gay” but only if it’s actually gay.
